The new Richard Meirs museum...

Arthur standing in the rain before the Ara Pacis Auguste museum by architect Richard Meirs. You've read about this highly controversial year-old building erected among the ruins. A blend of glass and travertine around a magnificent Roman sacrificial altar. Italians hate it or love it! I'm ambivilant myself. The altar's relief work is some of the most beautiful ever created.
