In Praise of Museums ...

Facebook-ad-sml_2 Thank God America's great museums are included in the recovery program for the economy. From Feb. 23-24, nearly 300 museum professionals from 43 states—descended upon Washington for Museums Advocacy Day, a comprehensive, concerted effort for museum professionals to make their case on Capitol Hill. After a day of intense advocacy training on the 23rd, these citizen-lobbyists hit the halls of Congress, meeting with the majority of Senate and House offices.
