Arthur Blumenthal, Ph.D., an international museum consultant and Renaissance scholar, and his wife, artist/writer Kären Love Blumenthal, have a passion for art. Through workshops and trips, they teach the joys of "slow looking," a novel technique for looking at art. Their firm, Loving Art Partnerships, offers a range of art services and they have led art workshops in Rome, Naples, Florence, Paris, Spain, and the Netherlands. Awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Florida Art Museum Directors Association and named "Orlando's Best Museum Director" on three occasions, Arthur is the Director Emeritus of the Rollins Museum of Art at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. He curated the historic exhibition, "In the Light of Naples: The Art of Francesco de Mura" organized by RMA that traveled in the U.S. Kären, influenced by the Neapolitan Baroque colorists, is an abstract artist who works with inks on paper. She is represented by Fine Arts 807 Gallery, Orlando, and Gallery on Cherry Street, Black Mountain, N.C.
